car companies have actully been sued that the automatic seatbelts (as
featured in many american comedy sketches) led to injuries (and in some
cases death) so they would probably rather leave it up to you to put
them on as there is far less risk of legal problems ;-)

BTW I wrote the software that ran the test machine that stress tested
the seat runners in the Focus. So no sueing me when they fail ;-P
