Odd, mine just says ODBC, it doesn't mention MySQL.

Oddly enough when I installed MySQL this time, it hasn't given me the
traffic light thingie and control panel that comes up with it.
Instead I have the Sys Tray monitor which is kind of a big O with a little
green play arrow in the top left. MySQL is definately running; that shows
it, and I've successfully queried it.
