Yup it's a bit quiet at the moment... a lot of us either use a separate=20
account for the mailing list or filter the messages into a separate folde=

from our main inbox. I find filtering on the "reply-to" address most
effective as then direct personal replies don't get filtered off.

You can subscribe to the digest form of the list but personally I find it=
=20
unreadable due to (cough) people not trimming quoted material.

It's a good idea to look at http://wiki.workalone.co.uk/ so you're famili=

with ground that's already been thoroughly covered. In particular

the "smart questions" page linked to from there will help you get
the most from the list - which can be a hell of a lot.

Like most online communities it might appear a bit cliquey and / or
unfriendly to begin with but it's not like that really. Lots of personal
and / or business relationships have been formed here. And one of=20
these days I might even make it along to a beer night.
