"#" = ID
"." = CLASS
Most sites using css will only use class; I use ID for the layout Div's.
Hope this will help you.

Subject: FN-FORUM: ccs Q?
Hi all,
I know it's a stupid question but I'm curious not having had a formal
IT training.
Why are there prefixs on a stylesheet of "#" or "." ?
And what is the difference between the two?
Nigel
