That was certainly the idea with the original 1984 Mac - clamshell
case you couldn't get open without a torx screw driver and a prying
tool known as a Mac cracker.

Yet with the G5 iMac, memory slots are user accessible. Ditto the
slotloading iMac G3. Their philosophy on this seems confused.
