If it flickers when you move the screen back and forth, as you've=20
said, then I would reckon it' the cable that runs through the hinge=20
from the motherboard to the screen's driver PCB. I fixed a client's
Samsung with this problem a couple of months back.

You'll have to order a new cable - these are handmade and specially=20
imported so not cheap! For Samsung at any rate. Disassembling=20
laptops is also quite a hairy business.
