RE: FN-FORUM: Transfer of Copyright
date posted 18th January 2005 12:53
Hi Emma
To make it legal, draw up a document stating 'copyright transfer to your
client' then print off two copies. Send one to your client and one to
yourself.
Never open the envelope when you receive yours!! (File it.)
Because it has the queen's head on the stamp and it is also dated, it is
legally binding. And will stand up in court, this is all you have to do.
This will work for all your artwork and design, it is the gypsy way to
copyright.

Does anyone have or know of an example of a document to form an
agreement
between myself and a client over the transfer of copyright?
Thanks
Emma
