I'd be tempted to include something that allows you to re-use code or
concepts without hindrance, explaining that the original work that they
own copyright to is all they own, not your inspiration.


otherwise next time you design something similar you might find them
coming after you for breach of their copyright!

we all have individual style and we all re-use code - don't shoot yourself
in the foot by giving that away too.
