I'm in total agreement there. I believe we can all vote with our feet by
refusing to buy those products should be choose to do so. The problem is
that it's difficult to determine what is worth boycotting as you say. I'm as
guilty as the next person in that, although we have a small cottage industry
for fruit and veg and eggs here in the village, I still end up going to
Morrisons/Safeway or Tescos to get such things.
I can honestly state that I have never eaten a McDonalds product though. I
grew up in SA during the apartheid years so we didn't have McDonalds as part
of our food chain (although there was plenty of Kentucky Fried Chicken
around); so by the time they did come in I was old enough to make an
informed decision to avoid them at all costs. It's a start I guess :)
