Speaking with recent bitter experience in mind...don't try to do more than
they want or can cope
with - the time I spent delivering a good solution (ie one *I* would expect
to receive)
meant that I was perceived as being far too slow...and then got the push.
Ask them what they want and then your backside is covered.
