This is what I figured and is the most likely scenario. The CDs are
actually a labelled product but look a bit dodgy to me as they are in
fact Memorex golds with laser printed labels stuck (off centre) on
the the disk faces. Hardly indicative of a professional software
product with proper CD mastering.
The 'product' came in a sealed box (DVD case) but already has
someone's finger prints on them. I may try cleaning them as Andy
suggests, but I guess I'll have to bounce them.
