FN-FORUM: XML data synchronisation between databases

Hi,

I've got two databases from different vendors with different
schema. They got some common data that I want to keep synchronised.

I'll be using XML for data transport.

Is there an existing XML schema that describes the sort of synchronisation
steps required on a per table or record basis?

Or does anyone have pointers to some articles - my search powers appear to
have weakened in the heat - on this subject?

The databases are Access and PostgreSQL ...............
