Hi Norman

You're right, that'll be the 4th install and download of 329MB SP1!!
However, in my heart of hearts, I think you're probably right. Though I
think I'll just try John's method of expanding the possibly dodgy files. If
that doesn't work then I'll re-install.

Hi Craig

Probably not what you want to hear but I'd go for a reinstall of
Windows. IIRC win2k3 server installs take less then an hour now which
will be a lot faster then all the time spent trying to track down the
one problem.
