RE: FN-FORUM: OT 2 minute silence
date posted 14th July 2005 12:40
I have to say I'm in agreement with Paul too. 1 minute's silence has been
observed every Rememberence Sunday for years for all the men and women who
died in the 2 world wars. Personally, I sat quietly on my patio with a cup
of tea and a cigarette while my cat chased midges round the garden...
perfect for a bit of peaceful reflection. It's the act of remembrance that's
important, not how you do it or ditinguish it from others.
