Subject: FN-FORUM: friday rant - this week adobe...
hands up who's got a nice free pdf reader for windows?
adobe have a free one of course, but I'd hardly call it nice, the slow
loading, memory eating bag of shite ;-( and at 26.8MB for the installer
its not even going to get a download if I can help it. I do have
another one that's only about 3 megs, but this seems to crash a lot at
the moment... obviously the other 23.8 megs of code is required to
stoping that ;-)
I've got open office of course, but while this prints to pdf it doesnt
seem to want to open them to read - feel free to point and laugh if I'm
being bloody stupid there though cos I admit it sounds a but unlikly
that it will do one but not the other.
So, come on then , friday recomendations if you please - and if your
passing the knights templer in bristol at about 5, i'll buy you a pint
in the sun.and we can watch the pretty girls leave the offices (well I
will, you can watch who ever you like)
Derek
currently :: Too damn hot.
( oh and since ive jsut seen a few "why dont you google it posts on the
forum" yes I have, no I didnt and that's why I'm asking - in that
approximate order)
