When trying to fix modems and stuff the best way to go about it is
uninstalling all the modems drivers that you have. Then turn the pc off
and unplug all the modems that are connected to the machine.... power up
and then power down again.....plug the modem in that you want to work
with and power up windows should then tell you that there is new
hardware and may ask you for the driver.... when asked for the driver
point it in the direction of the driver and hey presto you should have
your modem working.... any problems email me off list with the modem and
pc details and ill tell you how to install it in more detail in the morning.
