I think the AOL Browser is a modified version of IE which fudges around
with image compression
There was someone who posted a site whereby you submit your URL (can
never remember this one!), and it'll render it (typically in 2 hours) in
the browser you specify. Short of that, I can't think of anything short
of reverse engineering the client to get it installed without the
excess.
