Very nice looking site Vladimir, but to my mind too difficult for
prospective clients to jump in quickly, see what you're about and form an
opinion of your work, even on 2mb Broadband.
And although your samples are of a high quality, they take too many clicks
to get to (and back) and are are too small to really appreciate.
On a 1600 x 1200 res monitor, the black site sits top left in acres of white
space - personally I think it might work better centred in a black
background.
Type in the right nav column looks out of place in Times - especially when
you've got it working so nicely around the stop watch. Could be you've set
it up in a font I don't have on my system, so maybe consider making the
rollovers as graphics rather than live type.
Do you find most/all of your work in Belgrade - if you are after a steady
income would you consider working for an agency or studio full time or even
2 or 3 days a week? One thing I have learned is to look after and respect
your clients - repeat work from existing clients is generally easier to come
by and takes less expenditure of your time and effort.
I've worked for myself for some years now and it has always been very up and
down - famine or feast. If you ever find a way of evening out the bumps,
let me know!
Good luck.
Niels
