Although you import PNG, the SWF is normally exported with JPEG
copies. You can control the generic JPEG quality to use, in the
"Publish settings" dialogue. And you can set individual JPEG
qualities per image through the "Bitmap properties" dialogue. (Find
the image in the library, open its properties, deselect "Use document
default quality") Also you use the same dialogue to set the image to
"Lossless PNG/GIF" but expect a large file size.
