It definitely looks hand-drawn. There's no consistency in the letter
sizing and it would be far easier to do it by hand than try to size
and fit a script font together like that, especially for a single
word.
I've done similar things for logos before, just writing a few styles
by hand on paper, scanning them, and then converting the bitmap to a
smooth vector graphic that will scale properly. It works well if you
have part of the name in a clearly typed block font and a word or two
handwritten.
