Sorry John. didn't mean to offend, although I clearly have, judging by your
rather abrasive tone. I really joined this forum cos I'm desperate for work.
I'm a journo on a newspaper but am sick of Dickensian pay and equally
appalling conditions so have taken radical step of quitting to become a
violin teacher because the money's so much better. But I still want to keep
my hand in and do some freelancing. Yet despite being qualified and having
glowing references, no-one wants to know. It's the old Catch 22 of having no
experience outside of the newsroom. Still, what do you care?
