Taking the initial page as an example, there is only one image and it is 76kb.
This is over the recommended page size of 50kb in itself! To reduce it he
could make it actual size (bigger for some reason?) and think about breaking
it up into 4 seperate images. This way (if the hierarchy is correct) the faded
background image would appear first, with the three other images in seperate
divs following. Also, try and get more optimisation in! It may take almost as
long to load, but it won't feel like it!
