Go for the job you want Richard, perhaps even say you've used the content of
the sites referred to as an example of you knowing your way around. The
ability to research and get information is as important as skill sets. Then
after a reasonable amount of time spent improving your skills within
employment, perhaps a site or two on the side for beer money, you should be
more prepared to survive in what is a hugely competitive and ever changing
market. We are all always learning.
On the light side, you can then post to this forum and again try going head
to head with some remarkably talented people! Perhaps assist a few newbies
too.
Good luck!
