Re: FN-FORUM: Illustrator Bounding Box width?
date posted 7th January 2006 15:48
I always explicitly create a crop area and then export it as a psd (or
just save for web) rather than use the document bounds.
* new layer (i keep my crops seperate so i can release them easier)
* create rectangle required document size, select it
* Object->Crop->Make
* Export -> [psd]]
Sorry if that's superfluous information, just trying to be complete.
The bounding box is only supposed to delimit the document bounds (a la
crop) - i've not had the white line issue, but i have had a 1px
transparent border on the right and bottom before, never really
investigated as to why, i just do my own crops.
Are you sure you haven't inadvertently given a background rectangle a
1px white stroke?
