It's not on the same scale, but my Dad used to work for AEG and was involved
in a legal battle with a person who had bought aeg.com. Although
AEG/Electrolux had the rights to aeg.com (as they were a registered company)
they still had to go to court to get it. In the end, they just paid the guy
off, because it cost less than the court case. I know a lot of companies
have had to do this. But that's when they first get the site.
I think you should be OK seeing as it's been his name for a while. That's as
long as you can get in contact with the company who stole it. If not, you
may have to take it further and get someone with a bit more authority to
contact them for you.
