I though the High Court had ruled the scam was legal, where it was a
separate company processing the payment, even if that company was owned =
by
the same holding company i.e., M&S retail use M&S cc services.

I don't know if they still do but a number of travel agents used to =
charge
1% more to pay by CC rather than debit card / cash. I always though it =
would
be great booking a =A310k holiday and paying in fivers.
