Erm.. thanks for patronising me - but I am aware of what web
standards are and why they're important.
My point was that Dave had said the fact that the site produced
errors "didn't inspire much confidence".
This is not a web designer's site. It's a site showcasing other
people's designs. The only thing that I, as a user, want
"confidence" in is the site creator's ability to choose attractive
sites - not their ability to code.
As it happens the site is entirely Flash-based and the code appears
to have been auto-generated - so the only people who I am likely to
lose confidence in are Macromedia. It kind of begs the question of
why you'd bother to check the HTML validity of a Flash site anyway?
