You could try uknova.com - not "legal" but they are bittorrents of UK shows
NOT available on DVD or video. So, you can download the torrents and think
of them as "something you videoed".
Good for recent and old stuff.
The site's got limited membership numbers - you may or may not be able to
signup, but if not, wait a few days before having another go.
