Re: FN-FORUM: Reloading Flash

I think you read the question incorrectly Peter, I wasn't looking for a
scientific calculation for bandwidth usage. More simply I am asking is
the same flash file being loaded from the server everytime? I presume
that every flash setup is different. I have a 700k flash file that
streams in instantaneously on one domain and it has no detrimental effect
on bandwidth.
I'll give you an example
www.bleubolt.co.uk/wear/default.php
Hit the refresh or any other page and the header document containing the
flash runs the preloader everytime!
are we all saying that this incurrs no bandwidth becuase the cached file
is executed? Bandwidth for this site has jumped nearly 100% since the
'designer' put his flash up.
