Actually the main reason most designers have trouble converting is the
learning processes to learn InDesign, getting an hour (probably in your own
time) to learn a new program just isn't enough time to master any program.

And in the beginning InDesign was rubbish now it's getting there which is
why more people are now converting.

'On a different note, (ehm) happily Quark is still in use by some
dedicated ones - but conversion to InDesign is fast due to
short-sightedness of Quark software developers... sad
