Re: FN-FORUM: Mac vs PC

Mac hands down.
They're much better value. Compare a similar specced PC to an iMac. =20=
The time I save very day not having to wait 10 minutes for my PC to =20
boot up is worth the price difference alone. Let alone the money I =20
save on virus software, etc etc etc
If you've only got =A3200 then a PC is your only option, but if you're =20=
a pro and can afford =A31000 then Macs are so much better it hurts.

Nowhere near 10% of users - more like 4%. You only have to TEST on a =20=
PC - HTML is the same whichever you do your work on. I do all my =20
design and html on my lovely iMac G5 and have my HP laptop next to it =20=
to test websites.

Not on OSX there aren't. There are no known viruses for OSX compared =20=
to hundreds of thousands of PC viruses. Main reason is OS X requires =20=
you system password for every install by default - so a virus can't =20
install itself without your say-so. Saves wasting valuable memory =20
running a virus checker.=
