RE: FN-FORUM: SCSI Server Drives

This is for a new server for a client and some of the options I'm
looking at have SCSI raid on board and are either supplied with just one
SCSI drive or have no drives. So either way to get a RAID 0/1 setup I
need to add at least one drive.
If I'm buying an HP Server I don't want to be buggering about buying
overpriced HP products when I get a more generic SCSI drive for much
less.
My other option is a SATA RAID array (hardware)

Hi,
Brief thought have you checked that your motherboard has SCSI interface
just because its a server does not necessarily mead hard drives are scsi
