Hi Sam,
In the past when I have come across these sorts of errors the first
place to check is that all the cards, chips, etc are properly seated,
try to get some software to soak test the memory and also check the
bios settings - could it be over clocked.
Within windows try to run Dr Watson and keep an eye on the logs to try
to track down if something specific is causing the problem.
Also, check the machine with at least one other anti virus program and
scan all your installation disks before using.
