FN-FORUM: Extra income ? Can you flash actionscript ? Read this please

Good afternoon everyone, I have been to see a specialist media company =
today
regarding my porfolio and the direction I am taking in graphics & media =
at
the moment. To put it simply they have seen my work and have advised me =
upon
discussion to delve further into Flash animation, I have been using it =
for
some time and they seemed quite impressed with the comparitively small
quantity shown. However whilst I may have a create edge and good
illustration skills I lack the ability to actionscript..this is proving =
to
be a major downfall in the progression of my work. I am a hands on =
person
and if I simply read a book it will not sink in, so I really need =
someone to
show me the basics, then I can master the rest on my own. My problem is
(besides the knowledge) I do not wish to go back to university or =
college as
I cannot afford to and dont want to anyway SO is there anyone on here =
(north
west based) who would be prepared to teach me (for a small fee) the =
basics
of scripting ? I am more than willing to commute to you as and when you =
are
available to teach me.
Or does anyone know of somewhere near that I could go to do evening =
classes
or something ?? I have tried my local college etc but to no avail . Any =
help
with this would be more than welcomed as my future depends on it. (have
tried the tutorials but nothing beats seeing someone do something and =
can
also answer questions)
