Yep I totally agree that the =A350 I spent on Norton was a waste of =
money
couple with the fact it let a nasty worm get onto my PC which AVG would =
have
picked up. To outcome was a m/c that stopped working and a Norton CD =
that
made its way speedily into the bin.
That made me mad too.

Norton's internet security is one of the worst applications I've ever=20
encountered as a user, never mind how annoying it is to deal with as a=20
developer.
They also block images and take out anything in a link tag that includes =
the word "marketing" in it's path, if I recall correctly.
I don't think there is a good way to disable script blocking, but you=20
could have a "warning, Norton is blocking scripts required to let this=20
page work" paragraph that you overwrite on page load if scripting is not =
blocked. That would at least make sure only norton users saw it...
