I'll admit that the amount I would claim for, if I was in Andrews =20
position, is perhaps a little aggressive. Having seen the site the =20
photos, although clearly copyrighted were not commercial photos as =20
such, and therefore it would be excessive to charge =A32,500 for them.
However other than that I think it's sound advice.
Send them a letter saying that they have stolen your photo (blatantly =20=
having now seen the site) you require payment for it or you'll sue. =20
Obviously the letter needs to be worded carefully - but that's not =20
unreasonable.

If I say to someone "I know you take drugs - if you don't give me =A3X =20=
thousand I'll go to the police" I'd agree that's extortion.
But would it be extortion if when caught shoplifting a shop manager =20
said to the criminal (outside the shop) - I saw you take that lump of =20=
cheese - now either pay for it or I'm going to call the police - =20
would that honestly be extortion?
Either way saying pay me or I'll sue you definitely isn't extortion - =20=
I get letters like that from BT all the time ;o)=20=
