Re: FN-FORUM: training work for foreign companies

They would be coming to me, just one person I think.
I am not surprised about the visa scam, I had some enquiries a
couple of years ago, where they seemed to want any training course going,
and wanted me to send them all sorts of paperwork and hotel confirmations so
that they could get a visa.
I think I will be asking for payment up front, if it goes ahead.
It will just be a matter of working out how to do this safely.
It does seem odd to me that they would need to come here to get training,
surely there must be training in Nigeria ?
Thanks
Julie

You going to them or they coming to you?
how many students, if they're coming to you?
I heard recently of a visa scam where Nigerian students get visas to
attend training in the UK and once they are in the UK disappear.
I'd want the money paid up front before accepting the booking if I were
you...
but I have no useful advice on how to make that happen, sorry.
