You now have:

Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit
X-MIME-Autoconverted: from quoted-printable to 8bit by ns0.fonant.com id
k1SNDwM5003602

So now you're using quoted-printable instead of base64, which more mail
handlers seem to be able to handle.

The garbage at the bottom is probably that Prosperity4 stuff added to the
base64-encoded message, without being base64 encoded itself, by the
mailing list software. So my guess is that the FN-FORUM mailing list
software is at fault, it should decode the message from base64 before
adding the footer, and then re-encode as base64, quoted-printable, or 8bit
to keep the UTF-8 characters. It seems to handle quoted-printable and
8bit OK, just messes up base64.

Some UTF-8 characters: “UTF-8 is nice – you can use extra characters like
¶ and ©™!
