yeah, but I did said "viewport"
fixed at bottom of page needs a relative div to hold the image and
make that bottom of page whatever comes, but as you say fixed at
bottom means many things....
so what's actually needed by the OP?
a fixed image to be at the bottom of the browser window regardless of
page position - cos that's another issue.
or what?
