FN-FORUM: .NET Sheduled Task

Afternoon all,

A colleague of mine is working on a project at the mo that essentially is an
XML/.NET web service that sits on the front of the clients MS SQL dB.

We have a bunch of queries that generate reports on demand (ie. mouse click
from user) from their admin panel and email them out as requested.

The aim is to get this to happen every night / week / month automatically.

Other than set a command line utility to call this function as a scheduled
task from the server itself, is there a way to do it within .net so the auto
mail-out runs as a function of the site, independent to it's host server?

All thoughts much appreciated.
