Re: FN-FORUM: doman registration

Hi Lee,
I'm trying to put things in perspective here.
Its simple really don't use dodgy looking sites, and no-one will ever steal
your domain(s) - (unless you forget to re-register it)
As far as people calling - I get this all the time but while they may infer
something they never actually say they're from Nominet, - what they're
usually telling you is "one of their clients" has asked them to register a
domain with the same name, but because they are professionals they are
phoning to offer you first choice at £95 as you hold the .com etc.
I simply tell them they should call back to speak to - and then If I'm
interested in the name I log into my account - and I register it myself.
More than one way to skin a monkey - anyway for anyone here the 2 companies
I gave will get you the cheapest domain 1and1 @ £1.99 for a .co!!
Jim.
