A corruption could be caused by various things, Such as a recent crash,
improper shutdown or even a virus. After you have re-created the connection
check you can ping yourself ( ping 127.0.0.1 0 ) If you have garbage in the
ping return then the TCP Stack is corrupt and you should also re-install it
too. After you get the connection back do complete check on your system for
virus, spyware and more importantly, test your hardrive...
