Try turning the firewall off and seeing if that makes a difference.
Check also that you have only one firewall running.
Try spybot search and destroy and adaware SE. There might be a nasty
lurking preventing it access to the internet.
There has to be something preventing it access.... turn off the anti virus
if you have to just too see if there is something there blocking it. Ive
heard of stranger things.
Have you installed anything new recently that might have messed with the
settings since you last used the program.
Have you got a router with a firewall built in check to see that access is
allowed on there.
I hope some of this helps...
If I think of any more ill mail it across.
Regards,
Darren

Darren,
That is the exact message but I've checked the Firewall (AVG 7.1) and this
programme has access to the internet allowed. I got a couple of texts out
this morning and then it just stopped working. I've uninstalled and
re-installed the latest version - downloaded to day - but I keep getting
that same message......

If your message is this exact message...
"Vodafone Test Centre was unable to communicate with the server. Please
ensure you have an active internet connection"
If this occurs during the registration process, the chances are your
firewall is blocking incoming and/or outgoing HTTP Traffic.
Check your firewall settings....
Hope this helps
