FN-FORUM: Do people work for shares?

Hi guys and gals,

Simple question: Does anyone work for shares or percentages of
companies anymore?

I'll be honest, I generally come up with tons of ideas for projects
but simply do not have the money to invest in designers and developers
that have no other desire than financial gain to work on projects for
me. I won't be completely ignorant, I understand this is generally
how things are done - you pay for a service, the service is provided
to you to a standard or outline that you provide and that's it.

Basically what I'm asking (and looking for) are people who maybe
design or develop in their spare time (or full time) but are looking
for potentially exciting projects to work on and call their own, for
fun and the prospect of building something from scratch that they can
put their name to. I won't lie and state that my ideas are either
revolutionary or unique, but I find that the best ideas are the ones
that are executed properly. I find that the more i have an interest
in a project on a personal level, the harder I'll work at it to bring
it to a reality. Thus this is ultimately what I'm looking for -
likeminded people.

Any designers or developers out there with little/no work on their
hands at the moment and are interested in building something together
for shared profit? Likewise, if anyone has ideas and are looking for
other people to help with shared profit, let me know.

Be gentle, it's only Tuesday, so try and save the abuse for further in
the week ;)
