RE: FN-FORUM: Could be a CSS thing? (Spacing)

date posted 17th May 2006 15:22

This is not a dig at you Anthony (I promise!)

I'm just wondering how many people put in huge spaces between each line of
code.
For example:

Welcome to Jinma (UK) - the UK's only Main Jinma Tractor Dealer

Title of page goes here

Text for page goes here

Although it doesn't look very spaced out in this email, for that particular
block of text, I'd write:

Welcome to Jinma (UK) - the UK's only Main Jinma Tractor Dealer

Title of page goes here

Text for page goes here

I see a lot of sites which do use tabs for spacing in the code and big
sites, particularly, are very hard to follow when there is so much code.
As far as I know, there is no absolute standard for spacing in code, but am
I wrong?

Ian

Hi All,

I have got a h1 and h2 tag in a DIV but on IE6 it pushes the div background
down. Here is a link http://www.jmltractors.co.uk/index.php - any
suggestions?

Anthony
