at the risk of sounding like a know-it-all and being invited to leave
the planet again, Andy was quoting from the HTML4 spec, which allows
unclosed p elements.
I think that most of us realise that a div can contain any element,
with the exception of and and that with CSS it can be
made to display inline, as can a span be made to display block...
;o)
