Hi Emma - are the 2 machines not networked?
I would go that route and transfer the files either over the network or a
cross-cable, I don't think you'll be able to display the PC on your laptop
screen - sorry.
If you are not networked, get hold of a crossed-ethernet cable and connect
the PCs together using your network ports and then set up a connection.

Subject: [SPAM?]: FN-FORUM: Problem!!! Can anyone suggest a soloution?
Hi there. wondered if anyone could help me with a little problem. I
moved house this weekend. Unfortunately my LCD desktop screen seems to
have been damaged during the move (or ~I guess that's what has happened
- the screen isn't responding at all and all wires have been properly
attached). Trouble is that I need to access some word files that are
saved on the desktop urgently and don't have the money to go out and buy
a new screen. I do have a wireless laptop however. If I could somehow
use the screen on my laptop to read the information stored in my desktop
then I would be able to transfer the documents across to my laptop and
save them on its hard drive. Does anyone know if or how this would be
possible. Any help would be much appreciated.
Emma
