FN-FORUM: Implications of claiming on company health insurance

Hi,
Another one...
If an employee of a company has health care as part of their salary
package and finds that they need to make a claim against the policy
concerned, would they lose the cover if they left the job even if the
claim has already been made/started?
On other words, do you have to stay with a company until you are well
again in order to get the treatment or could you leave and continue
the treatment on the grounds that it's an ongoing claim?
Or does it depend on the individual contract? (Probably but I thought
I'd ask...)
