Paul,
I highly recommend www.hostgator.com - they're a fantastic price (from
around =A34 per month) for 3.5 Gig and unlimited domains (slight lie - =
it's
from =A35.40 for the unlimited domains account).
I've been with them for over 2 years, host half dozen client sites from =
the
same account. I think there's been 2 occasions over that time when my =
sites
went down, but they're very quick to sort problems out and they were =
back up
in now time.
Really impressed with the features, bandwidth and disk space.
The fact that they're stateside I've never really noticed, they got 24/7
support, so it's never been an issue. I automatically pay by credit =
card
every month and so don't notice the exchange rates, or have an issues.
Brilliant.
Peter

Subject: FN-FORUM: Host
Can anyone recommend a good host?
I currently use streamline. They=92re generally ok but have started to
frustrate me recently. To be fair, they are cheap (=A3160 for 10 domains =
&
hosting for 2 years).=20
Ideally need to buy package for 10 domains with absolute minimum of 50mb
each and 1000mb bandwidth monthly for similar price as streamline. =
Prefer UK
based servers and would also want to choose whether to run each domain =
on
windows or linux (I use asp on some and php on others). Don=92t need =
CGI,
Perl, SQL etc. Also important is support staff who know what they=92re =
doing
and answer the question that is asked!
Thanks in advance
kind regards
