Basically "go contract" go to an agency and get jobs that pay on an =
hourly rather than fixed price.

I guess this is the main difference between being self employed as =
freelance and "self employed" as contract.=20

Nice idea, but how do you get these jobs ? You are going to have to =
market yourself, talk to clients, negotiate, ....

If you really don't want to do any of that: go & get a permanent job.
